Words for the Wise Thread#1 As I keep opening up in the process of connecting to myself it sometimes feels like I'm in an old childhood dream. Those dreams live deep within my body, as well as in my thoughts. As I let thoughts go I feel off-balance, and I keep trying to fix myself. I finally realize that I'm not off-balance, but light and free without the old stories stuck in my new body. I'm in my new truth, an experience like free-falling. Living a life when you often don't recognize yourself is such a beautiful gift. I found this lovely passage from Writing from the Body by John Lee, excerpted in Art as a Way of Life. I invite you to start talking to your body and visit some of these forgotten rooms. "What is your truth? Ask your heart, your back, your bones, and your dreams. Listen to that truth with your whole body. Understand that this truth will destroy no one and that you're too old to be sent to your room. Move into your truth as though it were an old house. Walk through each room. See, hear, and feel what it is to live there. Try to love what you find, and remember the words that come to you as you explore." Much Peace and Love, Gail
