Reinventing your life after Cancer
Your cancer treatment is over. Now what? Surviving cancer is more than just healing the body. Cancer affects the mind and spirit as well. After traditional treatment has been completed, women are often left on their own to contend with the physical, spiritual and emotional impacts of this challenging disease. A new level of healing is just beginning. You are not the person you were before cancer, and your life will never be the same. How then do you move on, and reclaim your life? The answer is, you don’t! You’re not the same person you were. You have different goals, different experiences, different priorities, and different expectations. What you’re looking for is not a reclamation of your old life, but something new. A reinvention... On this path to emotional, physical and spiritual healing, you must find answers to a very different and new set of questions: Since I can’t have my “old life” back…- How do I live with the fears that accompany being a survivor?

The Wise Woman Institute's groundbreaking reinvention courses begin to address these issues, offering the tools, coaching and support you need to invent a life that you love. Course Outcomes Our participants design life projects, learn practices, new thinking and actions that will take them from cancer patients to survivors to playful and inventive explorers of their new futures. We also offer a loving, safe community of support to move you along in your process. Also included is customized yoga for the different stages of healing. Our intention is to introduce or enhance your meditation and relaxation skills and provide our participants with new, nurturing, and supportive pathways to living the life of their dreams.
